Description
By going through the NPS Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Instructors Program, you’ll become a Certified CCMA Instructor (CCMAI), which allows you to enroll your students in the remote proctored National Certification Exam and earn more income as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.
Certification materials include Comprehensive study materials, unlimited practice exams, and three certification exam attempts without any retake fees.
Clinical medical assistants are essential team members at hospitals, doctor’s offices, outpatient facilities, and clinics. They are responsible for the following duties:
- Phlebotomy
- Point-of-care testing
- Patient intake
- Diagnostic testing
- Updating patient electronic medical records
- Pharmacology
- First aid and office procedures
Allied Health Instructor Program Certification Requirements
To qualify for this instructor certification, candidates must hold a current CCMA certification and meet one of the following experience requirements:
- At least 5 years of medical assisting field experience within the past 10 years; or
- At least 1 year of teaching or training experience within the past 3 years.
