CBHS Certification Renewal

Certified Phlebotomy Instructor
(CPI) Certification
If you’ve been practicing phlebotomy in the field for five years or more, you may register with NPS to become a certified phlebotomy instructor. With this certification, you’ll be able to get a job teaching at any phlebotomy school or run your own course. By going through our program, you’ll be able to proctor the Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician Exam and earn more income in the phlebotomy field.
Regardless if you’ve been certified previously through us, you can become a CPI through our instructor program. You just need to meet the following requirements:
- 5 years or more in the field
- Successfully completed at least 50 Venipunctures as a CPT.
- 5,000 or more successful blood draws
- Clean background check
- Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
Certified Behavioral Health Specialist Instructor
(CBHSI) Certification
If you’ve been practicing in the field for five years or more, you may register with NPS to become a Certified Behavioral Health Specialist Instructor.
With this certification, you’ll be able to get a job teaching or run your own course. By going through our program, you’ll be able to proctor the Nationally Certified Behavioral Health Specialist Exam and earn more income for proctoring.
Regardless if you’ve been certified previously through us, you can become a CBHSI through our instructor program. You just need to meet the following requirements:
- 5 years or more in the field
- Clean background check
- Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
Certified Medical Administrative Instructor
(CMAAI) Certification
If you’ve been practicing in the field for five years or more, you may register with NPS to become a Certified Medical Administrative Instructor.
With this certification, you’ll be able to get a job teaching or run your own course. By going through our program, you’ll be able to proctor the Nationally Certified Medical Administrative Instructor Exam and earn more income for proctoring.
Regardless if you’ve been certified previously through us, you can become a CMAAI through our instructor program. You just need to meet the following requirements:
- 5 years or more in the field

Certified Electrocardiogram Instructor
(CEI) Certification
If you’ve been practicing electrocardiography in the field for five years or more, you may register with NPS to become a certified electrocardiogram instructor. With this certification, you’ll be able to get a job teaching at any electrocardiography school or run your own course. By going through our program, you’ll be able to proctor the Nationally Certified Electrocardiogram Technician Exam and earn more income in the electrocardiography field.
Regardless if you’ve been certified previously through us, you can become a CEI through our instructor program. You just need to meet the following requirements:
- 5 years of experience or more in a related field
- Clean background check
- Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
Advanced EKG Refresher Course (CET)
The Advanced EKG Refresher Course is designed for those who need to update their knowledge in performing and interpreting EKG tests. This course will explain cardiac anatomy, physiology, and electrical conduction to understand the electrocardiogram and rhythm patterns. Students will understand how to recognize and interpret normal cardiac patterns and arrhythmias based on waveforms of an EKG, including the causes, clinical manifestations, and treatment options.
The Advanced EKG Refresher Course will also provide you with all of the CET Certification Materials so that you can become nationally certified as an EKG Technician. Included is fully comprehensive study materials, unlimited practice exams and one certification exam attempt.
