National Phlebotomy Solutions Announces Rebranding to National Performance Specialists

– Leading certification provider centralizes allied health programs for phlebotomy and EKG in commitment to expanded access and member opportunity. –

National Phlebotomy Services (NPS), a leading phlebotomy certification agency and education advocate, today announced its rebranding under the new name of National Performance Specialists. The change reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to providing accessible national certification resources and exams across allied health professions. The NPS logo and vision will remain unchanged while additional brands join under the new moniker.

NPS will continue to provide national certification for phlebotomy professionals for new technicians, certification renewals, or program instructors. Platform access will remain unchanged, leaving the member experience for existing NPS members nearly the same. As the new NPS expands its national certification offerings, program access and certification for American Society of EKG Technicians (ASET) will be migrated to the NPS platform. Materials will remain segmented by educational discipline, but members can register separately for multiple certification programs with NPS in line with their career qualifications and needs.

Since both ASET and NPS already rely on the same core technology, existing ASET members will not lose access to any of their materials, progress, or certification in the move to NPS. Members will be notified regarding changes to user access and updated web domains over the coming days. Anyone who has successfully passed a national certification exam will still be able to verify their existing credentials during their active certification dates.

All National Performance Specialists programs for phlebotomy and EKG national certification offer unlimited study materials and practice tests as well as one final exam attempt, instant proof of certification, and digital badges. With no hidden fees, costly textbooks, or set schedules, members are able to access content to study or sit for the exam from anywhere for a single price per program. “By developing a proprietary LMS platform, we have greater flexibility to offer new content, notifications, and experiences to members across all disciplines,” said Brandon Oxendine, Vice President & CTO, NPS. “We’re able to expand that technology so members can study from anywhere, including mobile, and so we can scale programs to meet evolving industry demand in existing and new specialties.”

Group Management options for instructor exam proctoring will also continue, enabling both phlebotomy and EKG programs to offer national certification to their students as a value-added option in their courses. “Training programs are seeing more demand than ever for resources to help their students succeed as well as extras to set them apart from their competition,” said Capeletti. “By partnering with NPS, these vocational schools, workshop coordinators, and institutions can include national certification to students without taking on extra work themselves.” The NPS system manages all student verification, exam results, and certification awards while also giving instructors hands-on tools to see student progress by topic and isolate areas for additional instruction.

Visitors to the NPS website will see updates in the coming weeks as the rebranding is finalized across all prior NPS and ASET assets. Members and instructors can contact NPS Support at 866-319-7052 with questions about the rebranding or access to program materials during the transition. The company’s website (npscerts.com) will remain a hub for information and updates for the community for the rebrand as well as new program launches and resources.
